NEYCO is an Australian owned and operated, small, family run business, located in Brendale Queensland. Created during the pandemic in 2020, NEYCO brings along deep industry knowledge in the heavy lift, crane hire & construction industries. The Role

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Service Technician, based out of our warehouse in Brendale QLD, with also the requirement to perform on-site inspections. We may be based in Brisbane; however, we service and provide our products nationwide, with clients in all states and territories. You'll be working on a wide range of lifting, rigging & height safety equipment, ensuring its maintained and compliant to the highest of standards. This role is a hands-on role where your technical aptitude, safety-first mindset, and commitment to industry leading service, will keep our clients heavy lift equipment operating at its best. You'll be representing our company on site.

The Role Includes:

  • Inspecting and testing lifting & height safety equipment

  • Manufacturing and testing chain slings

  • Packaging Pallets and Warehouse dispatching/receiving

  • Completing job data entry and inspection reports using our CORE Software.

  • Maintaining our clients lifting registers

  • Operating our 3.5t & 7t forklifts and horizontal test bed

  • Participating in ongoing training and industry certifications

 

What’s Required

  • Hands-on, mechanically minded individuals

  • Technical Aptitude. Technical knowledge of our industries is advantageous, though not essential

  • LEEA Accreditation highly regarded but not essential, we will put the right candidate through all necessary training

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Good communication skills and time management

  • Current drivers licence and HRW licence (forklift)

  • Comitted to workplace safety
